A soma braid is a bracelet typically worn around the wrist of Sagittarons, who believe that such bracelets bring health.
For men, this bracelet is typically made from leather, while women's bracelets can be metal in nature.
It is customary that the bracelets are given to the surviving relatives of the deceased. For instance, Portia King receives Willie King's bracelet after Dr. Michael Robert kills him (The Woman King).
