Chu was part of the group led by Sesha Abinell which took hostages aboard Cloud 9, hoping to get the Cylon prisoner Boomer in exchange.
He seemed uncomfortable with the whole ordeal, hesitant to search the bathroom for more civilians, but still went along with the plan.
Seconds before to a second rescue attempt, Chu was suprised by Billy, who managed to take one of the guns he had on him and shoot Vinson.
As soon as Colonial forces poured into the Cloud 9 lounge, Chu was killed along with the rest of the hostage-takers. (Sacrifice)
