  • According to the press release for the third season soundtrack, the fourth season will premiere on Friday, January 11, 2008 on the US SciFi Channel. This also confirms that it will be moving back to its original airing day, Friday, likely in reaction to the lower ratings it incurred during the Sunday timeslot.

  • A new promo for Season 4 of the Re-imagined Series has appeared on YouTube. Check it out here. Discuss it here.
  • Universal denied rumors of an HD-DVD version of "Razor", saying that they have no plans to release the DVD movie out in the format, despite the listing on Amazon.com and other retailers websites.[1]
  • TV critic James Poniewozik names the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica as one of the 100 greatest television shows of all time. Joining this list are cult series such as The Prisoner, The Twilight Zone and the original Star Trek.
  • The episode "Exodus, Part II" has won an Emmy® award for "Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series" and was nominated for "Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series". Together, "Occupation" and "Precipice" was nominated for "Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series", but did not receive the award.
