- The SCI-FI Channel has confirmed that the 4th Season of Battlestar Galactica (RDM) will now be increased to 22 episodes, including a special two-hour extended episode that will air during the fourth quarter of this year and be released on DVD by Universal Studios Home Entertainment thereafter.[1]

- As reported on the blog, the admin at Scifi.com announced that the season finale will run approximately 5 minutes longer than usual.[2]
- Battlestar Galactica has received four nominations for the 33rd Saturn Awards: Best Series, Best Actor for Edward James Olmos, Best Actress for Katee Sackhoff, Best Supporting Actor for James Callis.[3]
- Sci Fi's Adam Stotsky confirmed a direct-to-DVD movie will be released, focusing on side stories that couldn't be fit into the regular episodes. After the DVD release, Sci Fi will eventually air the movie as well.
