Welcome to the Wiki! Feel free to tell us a bit about yourself on your user page. And please read the Battlestar Wiki:Standards and Conventions project page. This page contains important information on the policies and practices in editing this wiki, which do differ from others. Enjoy! --Spencerian 17:53, 17 January 2006 (EST)

Source Information Needed

Robojerk, I could not find a reference to the one you noted in a recent edit on Lee Adama's speculated Cylon association. I'd like to keep that one in as it is intriguing, but we need the episode where you found that information. Please cite a source in the article, thanks. --Spencerian 18:08, 17 January 2006 (EST)

Response to sources

Okay, I'll get sources... Please keep in mind that the writers of the show may just be messing with our minds and eluding that Lee Adama is a cylon just a way to keep us on our toes. Since Leoben Conoy speaks in half truths I am weary to believe this rumor myself however there are some interesting connections.

Thanks. It is tantalizing, although improbable since it seems that the humanoid Cylons just appeared two years prior to the start of the miniseries, long after young Adama reached adulthood--and Cylons aren't clones of humans, further reducing the likelihood. While Battlestar Wiki allows speculation and NPOV, we cannot do so without a source that gives reasonable basis. Technically, anyone could be a Cylon in the show, but definitive proof or evidence is needed to prevent us from contradicting our information here and the aired content. For example, I created a section on Gaius Baltar's article on his probability as a Cylon, which gives supporting information, and others have added dissent, but all has a material source or basis of deduction. The Battlestar Wiki:Citation Jihad project page details more on our policies on sources. --Spencerian 00:28, 19 January 2006 (EST)
