Hoshi is a petty officer onboard the battlestar Pegasus, under the command of Admiral Nelena Cain (Pegasus). Her duties aboard the Pegasus appear to mirror those of Lieutenant Felix Gaeta on Galactica. It means "star" in Japanese.
