Re-imagined Series

Troy was a Colonial mining settlement in the vicinity of Aerelon that suffered a cataclysm, killing a majority of the people who were there at the time. (Flesh and Bone)

Residents

The Humano-Cylon model known as Sharon Valerii claimed that she and her parents, Abraham and Catherine Valerii, had lived on Troy, and that her parents died in the cataclysm (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II, Flesh and Bone). It is uncertain as to whether the Valeriis actually existed or were merely a fiction created by the Cylons to firmly establish Sharon's background.

Greek Mythology

In Greek mythology, in Homer's Iliad, Troy was a city and the site of the Trojan War.
