Kacey is a young girl whom Leoben Conoy claims is the genetic offspring of himself and Kara Thrace. Leoben holds Thrace in an apartment on New Caprica for four months before revealing the child. Thrace is understandably uneasy around the child, but appears to show genuine concern when Kacey has an accident and requires medical attention.
How much Leoben is to be trusted on the origins of Kacey is not yet known, but should be explored in future episodes.
