Richard Hatch and Dirk Benedict filming The Hand of God still shot is from the TOS DVD. There was a special on the last DVD behind the scenes. I thought this pic was revealing with the back projection showing. I'm not sure how to tag this to conform to current standards. If you could help me with the tag I would appreciate it. --Skywayman 13:16, 27 July 2006 (CDT)
- The tags are located on the BW:ITP page, but the code you are looking for is this:
{{promo}}
Since it's a special feature and not from an episode. --Shane (T - C - E) 13:15, 27 July 2006 (CDT)
Rollback on "Mop Boy"
On images where no caption is needed, it's aesthetically preferable not to use the thumb tag to an image. For the image I inserted with the simple graphic, I chose not to have a frame, and therefore no thumbnail since the image sat best next to the text, which already "captioned" it. Thus, the rollback. --Spencerian 10:35, 28 July 2006 (CDT)
- You sure? That could have been a simple edit and not a rollback because you removed the {{sillypage}} template also. --Shane (T - C - E) 10:37, 28 July 2006 (CDT)
- I was being lazy, my bad. The page is set now with the correct tag.
- Why be so pushy about immediate deletion of an article, even a silly page, given than the main criteria for one is just to be funny? The letter of the "law" shouldn't be used to damage or reduce the spirit of the contribution (even if I say so myself). Rules are meant to keep boundries, but if there's anyone who can take a little humorous abuse, it MUST be an admin, which the article is directed at, of course. --Spencerian 11:36, 28 July 2006 (CDT)
Checkbox Empty
I want to file a feature request against MediaWiki. Where does one do this?
For the curious, the request will be for an "Empty pages" checkbox on the page for editting one's watchlist, as mine was greatly contaminated by that page moving vandal. --CalculatinAvatar(C-T) 14:33, 1 August 2006 (CDT)
- Can you expand just a bit more? --Shane (T - C - E) 15:38, 1 August 2006 (CDT)
- Well, what I want is probably best made into a feature request bug against the MediaWiki software itself, but, sure, I can. Go "my watchlist" -> "Show and edit complete watchlist" . Observe the (possibly quite long) list of checkboxes. Note that empty pages can be present. As I'm sure you are aware, many online interfaces built on selection by checkboxes from long lists have checkboxes labelled "All", which, when checked or unchecked, apply their state to all checkboxes on the list. What I desired was a checkbox labelled "Empty pages" that, when checked or unchecked, applied its state to all checkboxes corresponding to empty pages. Empty pages on a watchlist can be generated en masse by page-moving vandals, for example, and clearing them can be inconvenient. --CalculatinAvatar(C-T) 15:56, 1 August 2006 (CDT)
- Ah. I understand. I will have to check my wikipedia watchlist (as my watch list here) is very limited, but I see what your getting at. Wikipedia has a javascript "script" to select all... but for it to be built into the MediaWiki software is different. But looking at the code it can be done. --Shane (T - C - E) 16:10, 1 August 2006 (CDT)

New Templates
Shane, what are these new date and time related templates you've been importing? Have they been discussed in BW:TANK yet? --Peter Farago 21:24, 1 August 2006 (CDT)
- It looks like they're just for that RFA end date calculation (currentdatetime + 1 week). --Steelviper 08:04, 2 August 2006 (CDT)
