Hey,
Right, this is a kinda thematic overview, a cross section through all the episodes, focussing on just one particular plotlinein the series. It's not intended to be comprehensive, but a jumping point for understanding a key plotline (particualy for season 1 and the first half of season two). It could basically be called "Laura and Bill's relationship". It currently only gets up to the end of season two, but I should be able to do season 3 relatively quickly tomorrow.

- While it's a potentially interesting subject, I think it's too much retelling of the episodes. Something we generally try to avoid to do. Maybe there could be more actual analysis of the relationship instead of just summarizing the episode pages. I don't know. --Serenity 03:54, 23 July 2007 (CDT)
- I tend to agree with Serenity. This is more an essay than analysis and it does retell what's on other articles. I'm torn, however, because there is a place for either an article like this, or a stronger use of the separate articles to point out the points brought out in this article. Perhaps the article could be more connected to the Government of the Twelve Colonies article and bullet-point items rather than retell them, allowing conclusions to be drawn by the reader, not by defining one point of view in this essay. --Spencerian 13:20, 23 July 2007 (CDT)
OK, well it's completed now anyway (basically, not that much happens in season 3), and I've added a little analysis. I'm aware this is a bit different from the usual sort of article here, I created it as a sort of test case. In short, it is a summary of one of the principle story arcs of seasons 1 and 2.0, which IMO is another usuful way of arranging information about a dramatic, story-driven show. The idea of having articles on themes in the show has been discussed in Battlestar Wiki talk:Think Tank/Female Involvement. As always, edit mercilessly. OTW 13:39, 23 July 2007 (CDT)
