In Act of Contrition, I seem to recall that Flat Top is referred to as a Lieutenant at the beginning. this should probably be added to the listing. Ltcrashdown December 23, 2005

I found out where the name Ryan Cisco comes from

I can't believe no one has noticed this before! In "Bastille Day", he pilots the Raptor carrying Starbuck to the Astral Queen. At time index 31:08 (PAL), you can very clearly see the Raptor name plate: "Lt Ryan Cisco - Flat Top"

Generally, I'd be inclined to go with visual evidence over the voiceover in "Act of Contrition". But he has been Dwight Saunders for a few years now. So maybe we should just note the visual evidence in the note and leave it as it is. --Serenity 17:21, 1 September 2007 (CDT)

Great catch! Indeed, I would definitely note it. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 18:13, 1 September 2007 (CDT)
Not sure how to word it though. "...Battlestar Wiki choses go with "Dwight Saunders", because it has been established longer", "...because "Ryan Cisco" has only been recently proven.". Sounds odd. But it needs to be something along that line, or it's just an arbitrary decision between visual and audio evidence. --Serenity 18:16, 1 September 2007 (CDT)
For all intents and purposes, it's more or less a retcon, because "Dwight" came after "Ryan". (Also, they may have had to change it for legal reasons, like they did with the whole "Paul" and "Saul" Tigh thing.) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 20:29, 1 September 2007 (CDT)
It could also be that the character wasn't named in the script (though important background roles usually seem to be), and that the prop and sound (or editing) departments just gave him different names without any intention behind it. --Serenity 05:55, 2 September 2007 (CDT)
I reworded the note. "Go with" doesn't sound very professional. I hope the revision meets with everyone's approval. I also did a little cleanup and general editing to the article. --Slander 09:28, 25 September 2007 (CDT)
Sure :) --Serenity 10:04, 25 September 2007 (CDT)
