• As reported on our blog, Anne Cofell Saunders is leaving BSG before Season 4 starts. She heads to NBC to start on a new pilot named "CHUCK" as Co-Producer.
• Battlestar Galactica received a Saturn Award for "Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series"
• The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly puts Battlestar Galactica #2 on The Sci Fi Top 25.
• The 1978 Battlestar Galactica currently appears on the ION Television Network, Sundays at 6 PM ET/5 PM CT, and 7 PM ET/6 PM CT.
• The Sci Fi Channel is hosting a Battlestar Galactica fan video contest. The winning entry (selected by David Eick) will be played during a Re-imagined Series season 4 episode. Entry deadline: June 1.
• The Season 2 episode "Downloaded" has been nominated for a 2007 Hugo Award.

• The Sci Fi Channel has confirmed that the fourth season of Battlestar Galactica will be increased from its initial request of 13 episodes to 22 episodes, with a special two-hour extended episode to air during the fourth quarter of 2007. The extended episode will be released later on DVD. In an interview by Salon magazine, Ronald D. Moore revealed that the special 2-hour episode will be a story set on the battlestar Pegasus. Even though the episode will be a backstory, it will have implications for Season 4.
