- According to series composer Bear McCreary's[4] blog, the first two episodes of season 3 will premiere back-to-back as a two hour TV movie.
- Season 3 will premiere in the US on Friday, October 6.[5]
- Battlestar Galactica is nominated[6] for three Emmy Awards by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
