- On July 27, 2006, Ronald D. Moore made the first new entry in his blog [1] at Sci-Fi.com in three months. It contains some very interesting news. Bradley Thompson also talked about the upcoming season here.
- According to series composer Bear McCreary's[2] blog, the first two episodes of season 3 will premiere back-to-back as a two hour TV movie.
- Season 3 will premiere in the US on Friday, October 6.[3]
