- According to series composer Bear McCreary's official website blog, the first two episodes of season 3 will premiere back-to-back as a two hour TV movie.
- Season 3 will premiere in the US on Friday, October 6. [1]
- Battlestar Galactica is nominated for three Emmy Awards by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Nominated categories are Outstanding Costumes (for Lay Down Your Burdens, Part 2), Outstanding Single-Camera Sound Mixing For A Series (for Scattered), and Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series (for Resurrection Ship, Part 2).
- SCI FI Announces a BSG spin off prequel series called Caprica. Check the story out here. (You have to scroll down a little to get to the story).
