While I agree basestars/battlestars shouldn't be capitalized (it's analagous to saying "aircraft carrier" IMO), why shouldn't Viper (or Raptor) be capitalized? Isn't it a model of fighter, like a Tomcat, Eagle, etc? --[[User:Redwall|Redwall]] 10:47, 2 January 2006 (EST)

:Viper and Raptor should be capitalized in all instances as they are proper names. Similarly (bad sp), all ship names are always capitalized, eg ''Colonial One'' but not battlestar which is the type of ship. Viper and Raptor should be capitalized in all instances as they are proper names. Similarly (bad sp), all ship names are always capitalized, eg Colonial One but not battlestar which is the type of ship. This probably wasn't written the clearest but I've only been up about three minutes and I'm not a morning person. --Talos 11:46, 2 January 2006 (EST)
