: Okay. So. Your Manager at work goes on vacation to Italy for a while. Long enough that the Higher Ups don't just gloss over it and make everyone cover for him. They actually promote someone on a temporary basis. What do you call the new guy? I'd call him the Interim Manager or the Temporary Manager. I know you're arguing intent, but--well, I don't know that it's that big of a deal. --[[User:Day|Day]] 16:14, 20 October 2005 (EDT) | : Okay. So. Catman?[edit]
I seriously think someone misheard a character saying "Captain". And he's not a Captain, he's a Lieutenant that got briefly promoted to Captain to temporarily be CAG. --Ricimer, 19 Sept, 2005
- It's on scifi.com, I swear to god. I know it sounds ridiculous. --Peter Farago 15:44, 16 September 2005 (EDT)
Interim?[edit]
Interim suggests that he was a temporary CAG assigned with the purpose of finding a more definite CAG. Adama meant for Birch to be the new CAG. Also, he was replaced by the same CAG from before, which I would say is another reason that the term "interim" could be improved upon. Rocky8311 19:05, October 19, 2005 (EDT)
