Paradeen was the destination of humans Michael, his wife Sarah, and their four children, who were traveling in a primitive spaceship in a state of suspended animation in the 2-hour episode Greetings from Earth. The Galactica intercepted their ship, and word of their discovery spread throughout the fleet with rumors that these people were from Earth.
To avoid a riot, Apollo, Starbuck, and Cassiopeia escort the ship to its original destination of Paradeen. Michael later awakens to tell the group that they do not come from Earth, but from a planet named Terra, which is besieged in a civil war.
