Sgt. Fischer is the Sergeant of the Guards aboard Galactica and one of the few Marine NCOs seen so far.

After Boomer shoots Commander Adama, Sgt. Fischer orders Hollis and Wenzler to remove her from CIC. (Scattered) He is also present when reporter D'anna Biers is filming a documetary on Galactica. ("Final Cut")
