I've recently become suspicious that many of these passenger liner variants may be fan renderings. In order to keep this image, we need a link to the original source of the render. --Peter Farago 18:57, 11 May 2006 (CDT)
I'm tagging this for deletion unless someone supplies a source. --Peter Farago 13:33, 21 May 2006 (CDT)
- I stumbled on this on a fan site with several others. This is a fan render and should be deleted. --Spencerian 08:50, 25 May 2006 (CDT)

- Here is where I found the image. Although I can't say whether I've seen this ship on screen, I find it highly dubious that it is a fan rendering, and count it as a legitimate Zoic rendering. The orange ship variants accompanying it have been seen in the series. Since Spencerian hasn't posited the website that he believes confirms this image as a fan creation, I am going to assume that it was this one, Battlestar Helios. At the bottom of the page, it declares that "Some of the images used on this page came from Galactica2003 Others were rendered by me using 3D Studio Max." Upon viewing the page, it is clear that he actually only rendered one image himself, in 3DS Max, it can be seen here. The rest of the images came from the same source that I used, which includes confirmed Zoic renderings. I haven't been able to elicit a response from the creator of the page, but since we use many images that are identical to those at Galactica2003, I think we should research this further before deleting this image. - I'm sorry, I need to see the original zoic source before I can sign off on this. We've been far too lax in accepting any official-looking 3D rendering as the real deal, without attribution, and that needs to end. --Peter Farago 17:47, 25 May 2006 (CDT)
- I agree, but does the image need to be removed from the collected files, or simply unlinked from any articles it is associated with until its origin is firmly established? Mason 18:42, 25 May 2006 (CDT)
- It's already unlinked, except form the Island, and I'm not demanding an immediate deletion. Do you think you have a lead on the original? --Peter Farago 19:07, 25 May 2006 (CDT)
- Thanks for the clarification, I'm on it. :) Mason 19:10, 25 May 2006 (CDT)
