Mark Jones (born January 17, 1953) is one of three writers tasked with rewriting "The Day They Kidnapped Cleopatra," the last episode in production at the time Galactica 1980 was officially canceled by ABC. The episode's original writer, Anne Collins, was unaware that the episode had been rewritten and started filming just before the series was canceled.
He went on to work on as a story editor on The A-Team, and worked with Glen A. Larson on The Fall Guy and NightMan.
