Re-imagined Series

Troy was a Colonial mining settlement in the vicinity of Aerelon that suffered a cataclysm, killing a majority of the people who were there at the time. It was not one of the Twelve Colonies themselves, but one of the minor outposts said to be in their "sphere of influence" (Flesh and Bone).

Residents

The Humano-Cylon model known as Sharon Valerii claimed that she and her parents, Abraham and Catherine Valerii, had lived on Troy (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II, Flesh and Bone). It is uncertain as to whether the Valeriis actually existed or were merely a fiction created by the Cylons in an attempt establish Sharon's background.

Greek Mythology

In Greek mythology, in Homer's Iliad, Troy was a city and the site of the Trojan War.
