Nomion's 3rd Sonata is a work of classical Colonial music composed by Stu Nomion. It's comprised of three movements: Pascaglia, Allegro and Variations.
It was played by the mysterious piano player, in the episode Someone to Watch Over Me.

- The music is in fact from the opening dialogue of the original series ("There are some who believe life here, began out there...").
- Original series music has appeared before, in the form of the Colonial Anthem.
- According to Bear McCreary, Stu Nomion is the in-universe representation of Stu Phillips, the Original Series composer[1].
