Templates being moved and restructed.

Based on the "Episode Data" template I been working on, all these templates that store the information about when the episode was "released" got to be changed to include the country code. US, CAN, and UK. Right now I am going to move all of these to have the US country code in, then over the course of the days, we will create and maintain a UK and CA template listing, but for now US is going to be #1. Any questions on the order of where the country code goes?

Based on this structure:

  • DVD's: {{{title}}} {{{dvdtype}}} {{{countrycode}}} DVD release date
  • Broadcast's: {{{title}}} format {{{countrycode}}} broadcast date

The format in which the informations should be in is: DD Monthname YYYY

Refer to Template:Episode_Release_Date for the proper code types that are valid. These templates once done, will go nicly with User:Shane/Testing_Area -- the new version of the Episode Data template. Shane (T - C - E) 11:39, 3 December 2007 (CST)

Wouldn't it be easier to condense each country code into one template, then have it print out a certain line when a switch is defined. For instance:
  • {{US broadcast date|episode=Scattered}} would print out the US broadcast date for "Scattered".
That way we won't have one template per episode, but instead have one template per country. Thoughts? -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 12:55, 3 December 2007 (CST)
