I've recently been finding promo images from Caprica-City.de (a German site, but, no I don't speak the language). The very first images [http://www.caprica-city.de/index.php?seite=episodenguide&aktion=showfolge&ID=72 seen here] says it all. BSG on French Wikipedia

You're right. French Wikipedia is a good place for BSG. I shall link the articles. But first I'm trying to make the wiki work fine. I must import many templates, translate their code, their documentation, and their names within the pages which call them, and also update the real-content articles'names etc etc etc before adding real data. You can be sure I won't forget Wikipedia when everything is finished ;-). alvine 23:26, 21 January 2009 (UTC)AlvineReply

Hello

Thanks for the greetings. I have about 7000 edits at the English wikipedia site, but I happy to help here. Thanks Oldag07 16:52, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

"No Exit" promotional images

I've recently been finding promo images from Caprica-City.de (a German site, but, no I don't speak the language). The very first images seen here says it all. While I'm presenting the set, I thought I'd just point out that last image with Ellen Tigh. Fairly unusual for an episode set. --Mars 06:40, 8 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nice Formatting

I like the new style of the The Caprican! Hope we'll find a way to preserve the articles if Syfy should take down the blog at some point. -- Graf Iblis 04:08, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! I thought the article needed links back to The Caprican's news stories and reporter's names seemed important to me too. I think the articles should be still available via the Internet Archive (I hope).--DrWho42 04:18, 15 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks

Thank you for the comment on my personal page :) Got the four part comic and will be adding as much as I can. The concepts are quite interesting actually if a bit rushed. Will see about adding other entries from the comics to the wiki. Oh well, take care! -- Deimos 16:56, 3 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcoming new users.

There is a high probability that all those new users you welcomed are human spammers or fully/semi automated spam bots. -- CylonU87 02:51, 1 February 2012 (EST)

I can confirm as only the first or last letter of their userid change. Take a look:
  • Fdallasgordony and Fdallasgordonv: sockpuppets
  • Astanjosephj and Vstanjosephj: sockpuppets
I know we have to assume good faith, but those ones are obviously sockpuppets and potential spammers. For the others I have doubts, so I leave as this (assuming good faith). Let us wait and see ;-). --LIMAFOX76 04:45, 1 February 2012 (EST)
Congrats on banning them before me! I used to use Stop Forum Spam to confirm sockpuppets/potentital spammers on the Battlestar Forum, but I'm not sure if it's applicable to wikis.--DrWho42 20:33, 1 February 2012 (EST)
That's not a pride for me but a plague as we are wasting our time to eradicate those spammers. See in the Media Repository for yourself. They are clues to identify such users:
  • Random letters at the first and/or last position
  • Succession of numbers between first and last name
  • A mix of both
  • Random letters
Some special users (like Joe Beaudoin) have the CheckUser feature. But the policy restricts the use to particular cases. --LIMAFOX76 02:43, 2 February 2012 (EST)

You're welcome! Just the first thought that entered my mind. I think we could always e-mail or message the writer for the episode for a confirmation.--DrWho42 16:39, 1 May 2012 (EDT)
