Hi, there. I rolled back your edits to Caprica (series) regarding "terrestrial" versus "Colonial" Cylons. Until the series concludes or later revelation is given, we don't know what the significance in the appearance, numbers and locations of Cylons. For now, especially since we know very little of what will comprise the new series, the statement is just too general. --Spencerian 03:20, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey, there. I love your enthusiasm for editing (been there myself a lot!). However, episode pages are complex and huge enough without lots of exposition unless it's done very concisely with relevancy. Less is more, otherwise it's harder to read these pages with their length and text-heavy format. If you see something significant that's missing, that is, a significant plot point or error, do correct. But these pages have been around a while and have had lots of contributors to review them. If you're up to it, try to shorten some of these pages rather than lengthen them to make them easier to get to their particular topic. Thanks! --Spencerian 03:22, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Battlestar Wiki!

Greetings, MileyDavidA, and welcome to Battlestar Wiki! I'm pleased to tell you that you have full editing privileges on every wiki in the Battlestar Wiki network. I hope you enjoy your stay with us and am looking forward to your contributions to the Wiki! Why not begin by telling us a bit about yourself on your own user page?

As you may already know, Battlestar Wiki covers all the Battlestar Galactica series from past to present, in addition to authorized merchandise. Presently, we don't cover fan fiction, but our sister-site, Battlestar Pegasus, does so. We're also not a discussion site, although we do have an ever-growing Battlestar Forum where people can discuss the various shows and non-BSG topics as well!

To get started on the wiki, we suggest that you check out our tutorial, experiment in the sandbox (a test editing area for those learning wiki code), and review some of our basic policies (which have important differences from other SF wikis). For some general questions and answers about the navigation and operation of the Wiki, check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Of course, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you are more than welcome to bring them up at the Chiefs' noticeboard (which is frequented by the administrators of the Wiki) and at the Galactipedians' Quorum (which is the hub for contributors, who are called "Galactipedians").

Furthermore, if you don't wish to see the ads, then please consider upgrading your account to a paid membership, which costs only $10 USD a year and helps support the wiki financially. Becoming a member also entitles you to our raffle, where you can win gift cards, merchandise, and other prizes! We think this is very cool, and we hope you do as well!

Thank you for joining us! Hope to see you soon! --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 10:36, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
