::I guess I'll go rewatch it. I just saw separating the unconsciousness from the sound as a neat way of eliminating the whole "how does the sound travel through space" issue. Sound

Are we sure it's the sound that knocks them out? Might be better to note the noise, and separately note its mad abduction skillz. --Steelviper 10:40, 17 April 2007 (CDT)

Well, it's insinuated that the sound knocks out the pilots, as you can see them react negatively to it before they are rendered unconscious. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 15:43, 17 April 2007 (CDT)
I guess I'll go rewatch it. I just saw separating the unconsciousness from the sound as a neat way of eliminating the whole "how does the sound travel through space" issue. Maybe it's all in their head (from the psychic-knockout-whatchamajiggers). --Steelviper 15:51, 17 April 2007 (CDT)
I never viewed the sound as actually being a sound, but rather an attempt at telepathic communication, possibly to warn the Colonials about Iblis... But that doesn't truly make a lot of sense either, as warning them would violate the whole "free choice" thing (as would abducting them). -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 16:15, 17 April 2007 (CDT)
