The Command & Control Center is the primary station within CIC used by the Commanding and Executive Officers aboard a Colonial Battlestar. The centre comprises a large communications and information management table, with a retractable information display tower bearing a number of LCD screens suspended above it. The displays are cabpable of showing a wide range on information including:

* Countdowns (33, You Can't Go Home Again)
* DRADIS Sensor Readings relayed from the Dradis Console (Mini-Series, et al)
* Battlestar management information, such as the vessel's spatial orientation (pitch, yaw & roll) (Mini-Series)
* Battle management information

A Cylon Transponder was mounted on the base of the retractable information display tower in Galactica's CIC, (Mini-Series), supposedly planted there by Aaron Doral, a Cylon infiltrator.

The Command & Control Centers on other battlestars more advanced than Galactica have varying arrangements and appearances, but likely serve the same functions.
