Galen Tyrol is a non-commissioned officer in the Colonial Fleet, serving aboard the battlestar Galactica. He is also one of the Final Five.

Tyrol was one of the many denizens who settled on New Caprica after its discovery. He subsequently married Cally Henderson Tyrol, with whom he had a son, Nicholas.[2] As with other settlers, he was left behind by the remaining defense fleet when the Cylons arrived.

Under Saul Tigh, Tyrol was second in command of the resistance efforts, and as such was told by Tigh to seek out Commander Flores before his capture. With Samuel Anders, they discover Flores and Twilight Command (Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 1).

References[edit]

  1. The writer of Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command 1 has Tyrol erroneously note that he has a daughter, however that is not the case. Any daughter Galen Tyrol may have had would have been, at best, a dream.
  2. It is later revealed that Nicholas was not Galen Tyrol's child.
