John Mann (September 18, 1962—November 20, 2019) was the Canadian actor who portrayed the characters Linden and Jackson Spencer in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica.

Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Mann later followed his career into music in the 1990s, becoming the lead singer, guitarist and co-songwriter of Spirit of the West, a Canadian alternative rock band whose biggest successes were "And if Vencie is Sinking" and "Political."
