Adrien Bauer was a lab assistant of Gaius Baltar with whom he worked for for three years on Caprica. He is Gemenese and Baltar got him a visa to work or live on Caprica. Baltar also introduced Bauer to his wife and was godfather to their first child.

Baltar finds a picture of Adrien Bauer in the memorial hallway while being escorted to the airlock by Laura Roslin and Marines threatening to execute him (Taking a Break From All Your Worries).
