Use of the term "Actual"

edit source

"Actual", as in "Galactica Actual" or "Pegasus Actual" refers to a communication between one party and the actual commanding officer of the other party/entity, in real time. Instead of communication coming from the commanding officer, and being routed through the executive officer, then through a communications operator — the other party is, instead, talking to the actual CO directly. So the term "actual" is a radio or channel protocol, not a callsign. -- Hawke 09:06, 17 March 2006 (CST)

My misunderstanding. Thank you for the correction.

Core command

edit source

Thank you for your contribution to the article Core command. Unfortunately, our citation policy requires that contributions such as yours be sourced to a non-wiki location. In this case, merely blogging about your set visit off-site would be adequate - we just need a site that we can link to where a single author can take ownership of the comments in question, and to which other readers can be directed. --April Arcus 18:58, 12 February 2007 (CST)

No problem -- I have a LiveJournal, so I'll write up something later tonight or tomorrow to which I can link my article contribution. Thanks for the heads-up about that. -- Davidkevin 19:06, 12 February 2007 (CST)
