Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | I am a graduate student in biblical studies in Berkeley, California. Throughout my life, I have dabbled in Sci-fi, but became particularly attached to BSG because of its theological and biblical overtones. I am currently working on a paper in which I am analyzing the literary archetype of the "Trickster" and applying it to the (literary) character of God within the material about Jacob in the book of Genesis. BSG comes in because I want to use "Head-Six" (and also "Head Baltar," though there is much less of him) as a sort of 'control' Trickster. In short, I am attempting to read the Bible through the lens of BSG. |
