- Actually, tankers can be quite small, for instance, the S-3 Viking , KA-6D Intruder, and F/A-18E Super Hornet can carry buddy refueling pods to fuel other planes. They don't have the same load capabilities as the KC-135/KC-130/KC-10, but they are useful for fueling carrier fighters. --Talos 13:57, 24 November 2006 (CST)
