Barkol?
Again, who or what is Barkol? To the best of my knowledge, this name has NEVER been mentioned in ANY Galactica project.
- While working the "Wanted" pages, I ran across Barkol, and I can't find anything about it. The only references I can find related to Barkol and Galactica are on this site. Anybody have any idea where the name is mentioned? --Steelviper 14:38, 20 December 2005 (EST)
- I too was completely stumped by Barkol. --Mason 14:57, 20 December 2005 (EST)
- If nobody has any objections, I propose that we remove all (3) references to Barkol. If something turns up, we could always add it back in. --Steelviper 11:24, 22 December 2005 (EST)
- Barkol is mentioned in one Usenet post from 2000, a review of The Gun On Ice Planet Zero, located at [1]. Can't find any other mention of it, though. --Bronzite 12:26, 22 December 2005 (EST)
- Excellent catch! Not very definitive, but it lead me here. It looks like Barkol MAY be mentioned in dialogue in Gun on Ice Planet Zero (part II) -- "Lucifer: "But the strategy was yours, Baltar. I recommend we come up with some sort of solid front, to explain this to Barkol, to the Imperious Leader." I've got part one Tivo'd, but I don't have part II at present, so I really can't confirm or deny this. I'm satisfied to let it stand now, until somebody can determine whether or not that exchange actually happened. --Steelviper 12:49, 22 December 2005 (EST)
- I too was completely stumped by Barkol. --Mason 14:57, 20 December 2005 (EST)
Removed: Lizard / Bible Notation
Removed the following notation in the article:
- The reason for The Imperious Leader being a Lizard is that in the Bible, the devil appears as a Lizard initially, but soon God removed its legs, and it becomes a snake. (Snakes and Lizards are both reptiles. Snakes were the center of the first religions on Earth, possibly due to Iblis. They remained to be significant throughout other religions to this day.
It will need to be properly sourced before it, or something akin to it, can be reintegrated into the main article. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 17:36, 2 June 2019 (PDT)
