Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | There is lots of proof that Galactica and Columbia are both Galactica class battlestars.
Although no one ever says this onscreen it is seen many times in the back ground.
It would also make sense that the lead ship in the class was named after the class, and since Galactic
represented Caprica that makes it the lead ship in the class. In this image it clearly shows (Galactica
Class Battlestar) [1].
