I disagree with the need for this article. "Culture" is an extremely broad topic, and is already fully encompassed by the other articles in this series. At present, this just seems to be a rehash of the Religion article. --April Arcus 12:01, 31 January 2007 (CST)

I had the same thought. The Cylon Culture article is pretty good, as it puts several topics like Cylon religion, biology and technology into a new context, and adds some new aspects like architecture. It also works because the Cylons are somewhat mysterious.
However, I don't see that with the Colonials. Their culture is very obvious and evident. Plus, as you said, it really rehashes things. Technically "Arts & Literature" would fall under 'culture' as well. --Serenity 12:07, 31 January 2007 (CST)
I think the Twelve Colonies series pretty much covers or should cover anything one could possibly put in this article. --Catrope 12:11, 31 January 2007 (CST)
Indeed. I would argue that we should be looking towards breaking Cylon Culture up into subsidiary articles as we acquire more information, rather than trying to reverse that process with the Twelve Colonies series. --April Arcus 12:52, 31 January 2007 (CST)
I wouldn't break it up unless there is really tons of information, which I doubt will happen any time soon. What I like is how it analyzes their society by drawing on aspects of their existance, that are different, but also vital for understanding them. They are different sides of the same coin. That would be lost in seperate articles. Not sure if I make myself clear here. --Serenity 13:21, 31 January 2007 (CST)
I certainly agree with you for the near future. I was speaking in the very long-term. --April Arcus 16:47, 31 January 2007 (CST)
Concur. I recommend any unique analysis be merged from this article to the Arts and Literature article. --Spencerian 13:16, 31 January 2007 (CST)
