'''Renata''' is introduced as Commander [[Cain (TOS)|Cain]]'s executive officer of ''[[Pegasus (TOS)|Pegasus]]'' when it encounters the [[The Fleet (TOS)|The Fleet]] once more.

Her manner is described as "warm, almost subserviant [sic]" and "knows how to make men feel important". She and [[Apollo (TOS)|Apollo]] manage to start a relationship, in which he sees herself as her champion, but is horrified to discover that she is a new breed of [[Cylons (TOS)|Cylon]] that is half-human, half-robot. 

Renata is difficult to kill and, with the assistance of [[Starbuck (TOS)|Starbuck]], Apollo is able to throw her into an airlock and into space ([[The Return of the Pegasus]]).
