I just noticed that this policy only relates to the episode articles. But we also discourage using the talk pages as forum. Of course some discussion is needed, but maybe we should add a part that discussions need to be kept on topic, not generalize or needlessly speculate about issues, and not be overly long. That happened in several discussions about the humanoid Cylons for example and was shut down. --Serenity 12:28, 30 April 2007 (CDT)
- Agreed. We've pointed to this policy in those instances, but I'm surprised that we hadn't language here that notes that talk pages aren't the place for winded talk, either. I'm make an amendment. --Spencerian 12:38, 30 April 2007 (CDT)
- I've added a section on talk chatting. --Spencerian 13:03, 30 April 2007 (CDT)
- Threatening to ban people - while certainly valid as a last resort - seems a bit harsh to explain the policy, but otherwise it looks good :) --Serenity 13:11, 30 April 2007 (CDT)
- I'd likely lock the page down a couple of days to stop chat, but we should always prepare for the dense who won't know when to stop talking and after they are repeatedly warned to stop. --Spencerian 13:28, 30 April 2007 (CDT)
