- Sorry to disappoint, it's just a Latin phrase which I have always liked, and as Mr. Avatar notes below, together means something along the lines of "Happy Guilt" or "Fortunate Guilt." It carries a connotation that, despite the fact something bad or blameworthy happened in the past, that in the end it will have turned out to be for the best. I have no real reason for liking the phrase or intent to apply it to anything specific though. I just always have liked the sound of it. :) --Felix Culpa 11:54, 18 August 2006 (CDT)
