::The ship only needs to be somewhere in the solar system and not really in orbit of the planet. We know that at least several other planets are in the same system as Caprica; possibly all. But all ever see is Caprica. Regarding the Caprican Facilities

We don't know if they existed....in fact, the only comments we've gotten regarding Boomer's specific Resurrection imply that it was actually on a resurrection ship assigned to the tweleve colonies. And if she, who died months after the attack, did not resurrect in a facility, I doubt there was any on the planet....--Sauron18 21:06, 17 October 2006 (CDT)
