Wasn't it Athena who comitted suicide by throwing herself off the Gates of Hera? --Redwall 12:29, 27 August 2005 (EDT)

Hell, I'm not sure now. I was sure it was Hera, but maybe I heard it wrong. Anyone got it TiVoed? Colonial one 14:58, 27 August 2005 (EDT)
I also believe it was Athena, but I'm to lazy to check my tape at this point in time. Maybe later. ---Ricimer, 27 Aug 2005
I had it saved, but I guess I erased it. I'll catch it next air, if no one else updates by then. Colonial one 16:25, 27 August 2005 (EDT)
Boomer: That's the spot where your god supposedly stood and watched Athena throw herself down onto the rocks below, out of despair over the Exodus of the thirteen tribes.

Lady vs. Lord

If Athena is a Lord of Kobol, then I guess Hera is too. Maybe that's part of the gender neutralization of the masculine titles (like "sir"). --Steelviper 16:05, 15 February 2006 (EST)

That's how I've understood it. It's another example of their use of gender-neutral honorifics from Way Back. The fact that they, apparently, toyed with using "Mister President" for Roslin makes me think that, if we consider the language we hear to be "translated" from some kind of common Colonial tongue, then that particular phrase is also probably gender-neutral and they just translated it idiomatically into English. If you take my meaning. --Day 17:16, 15 February 2006 (EST)
