When attempting to flee the Cylon attack following the surviving fleet's arrival at Ragnar Anchorage, Command Adama selects the Promar Sector as a means of jumping away from Colonial space and hopefully escaping the Cylons (Mini-Series). Lieutenant Gaeta is assigned the responsibility for plotting the jump, even though no-one has ever attempted the distance involved before. Adama supports Gaeta by giving him his own calculations immediately before the jump is made.
