  • On July 27, 2006, Ronald D. Moore made the first new entry in his blog [2] at Sci-Fi.com in three months. It contains some very interesting news. Bradley Thompson also talked about the upcoming season here.
  • According to series composer Bear McCreary's[3] blog, the first two episodes of season 3 will premiere back-to-back as a two hour TV movie.
  • Season 3 will premiere in the US on Friday, October 6.[4]
  • Battlestar Galactica is nominated[5] for three Emmy Awards by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Nominated categories are Outstanding Costumes (for Lay Down Your Burdens, Part 2), Outstanding Single-Camera Sound Mixing For A Series (for Scattered), and Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series (for Resurrection Ship, Part 2).
