Colm Feore is a Canadian-American actor born in Boston, Massachusetts and now currently resident in Canada. In the latter country he shot to fame by portraying former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau in a 2002 CBC miniseries. The actress portraying Trudeau's then-wife Margaret, Polly Shannon, is the real-life girlfriend of Callum Keith Rennie, better known in Battlestar Galactica as Leoben Conoy, a Cylon agent.
Within the Galactica universe, Feore appears on-screen as Richard Adar, the President of the Twelve Colonies at the time of the Cylon attack. Outside of it, Feore is perhaps best-known internationally for his intelligent portrayals of varying characters as diverse as pianist Glenn Gould and Marcus Andronicus in the 1999 remake of Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus. He also portrayed the Necromongers' Lord Marshal in The Chronicles Of Riddick.
