My real name is Elwood Goulart, but I am known by my nickname, Woody. My username is "Treko." I am the writer of Trekology a nonfiction site that grew out of my primary source research into Gene Roddenberry and Star Trek during the 1970s. I am someone who greatly respects what Ronald D. Moore has accomplished with Battlestar Galactica especially since I find it obvious that he has learned and built upon the many lessons of Star Trek. I presently am conducting research regarding RDM and Battlestar Galactica for a chapter in a forthcoming 2007 nonfiction book about science fiction and politics.
