The Prometheus is a freighter rumored to be 'off the grid'. It served as the base of operations for the ex-mercenary Phelan and was the main trading hub for the Fleet's black market.
Notes
The name of the freighter is notable, as it seems to be named after the Greek Titan Prometheus. Prometheus is noted for taking fire from the Gods and and giving it to the humans, against Zeus' wishes. Given Tom Zarek's continual referencing of Admiral Adama as Zeus, and the fact the Prometheus is the head of the black market, and organization which seeks to redistribute goods from the military to the civilians, the parallel very apparent.
