Elisabeth van Assum (also credited as Liz van Assum and Elizabeth Van Assum) is a Canadian entertainment industry professional who served as casting assistant for Canada on both the 2003 miniseries and multiple episodes of the first season of the Re-imagined Series.[external 1]
Career
Van Assum began her career in the entertainment industry in 2000, working on the Canadian television series Call of the Wild as both script coordinator and script supervisor.[external 1] She continued to build her career through various production roles, demonstrating versatility across different departments in the film and television industry.
Casting Work
In 2003, van Assum transitioned into casting work, serving as casting assistant for Canada on the comedy film Scary Movie 3.[external 1] She continued in this capacity on Battlestar Galactica, working on the 2003 miniseries that relaunched the franchise.[external 2]
