The Island of Misfit Images
This article is intended to indentify unused images. Feel free to add to it and to make comments. Hopefully this can be used to find images for articles that need them, or identify images that can be deleted to make space for more images. Hopefully this can be used as a resource for article writers/editors to find images for the content, as well as administrators to clean up images that have sat here too long.
- I used thumbnails to hopefully avoid accidentally destroying any dial-up users that may stumble upon this location.

I guess I'd be for that. His promo shot isn't very good. My only quibble would be to maybe crop this one down to more head and shoulders stuff, so that it's "all business" when in a 200px template size. I tested an 8X10 ratio in photoshop at about 200px width that looked pretty good, but I'm not sure if it'd catch everything you wanted (loses some of the dress uniform stuff). --Steelviper 15:43, 18 January 2006 (EST)
Part of what I like about it is how very naval he looks. You think mostly it's too tall? I'd not want to crop it higher than his lowest pin, I think. Of course, I use a pretty small resolution (1280x1024), so it doesn't take up that much space on my screen if it's real tall. And, anyway, on a web page, it's horizontal space that's really a premium. You expect to scroll a bit when you're reading a web document. --Day 16:11, 18 January 2006 (EST)
Yeah, I guess the height is what bothered me (despite my 1280x1024 resolution). More directly, the fact that it isn't 8x10ish. Also, I initially though some of the other details on the top, bottom, and sides were distracting. However, they do frame the shot pretty well, and it DOES look very naval. He could just as easily be standing on the deck of a Ship o' the Line (especially with his jaw jutting out like that). I went ahead and added it back to his character page, and the promo shot to here. I'll leave this for a bit (till you've probably read it), then delete it from this page (as it now has a home). --Steelviper 16:25, 18 January 2006 (EST)
