A computron is a Colonial term for computer.
It is first used in Galactica 1980 with the introduction of a "wrist computron", a device capable of translation and invisibility (Galactica Discovers Earth).
It is also a term used in the Realm Press comics, first appearing in "The Law of Volahd".
